About Us

Country Cuisine was launched over fifteen years ago by the owner Leonie Collins-Read. Leonie is a classically trained caterer and is passionate about food quality and presentation. She trained and worked in the catering industry for some time and then decided that she wanted to start a business that could offer her wide range of skills to the more discerning clients of South Cheshire and North Wales. Country Cuisine has gone from strength to strength enabling her to employ quality staff while still remaining totally 'hands on' in the kitchen and at client functions. These range from barbeques for 500 to weddings, christenings and special occasions from 50-250 guests as well as regular corporate events.

Leonie believes that one of the key facets of the success of her company is to listen to what the customer wants and design the menus around their needs and requirements. This is reflected in the fact that the majority of her clients have used the company before or have been recommended by a colleague, friend or relative. Quality of food and service is always the prime aim of Country Cuisine.

Our Food

We pride ourselves on producing dishes that are innovative in flavour, texture and taste. Our range caters from the most complex dish to the very simple but always with the individual customer's requirements in mind. New dishes are being developed all the time and on many occasions revert to what originally was the most basic dish but presented in a very different way. Vegetarian cuisine is a particular speciality and we realise the importance of designing dishes that move away from the regular type of vegetarian dish found in most catering outlets. The most important factor of our menus is sourcing the very best sustainable ingredients taking into consideration seasonal produce and wherever possible from local producers.
